Abstract: The United States of America is the world's largest producer and exporter of agricultural products and food. Export of agri-food products is the most important direction of foreign economic activity of the United States. The main goal of the country's export policy is to cover international markets as widely as possible and secure a foothold in them. National export promotion programs play a significant role in promoting agri-food products to international markets. The programs are designed for a wide range of participants, including government, commercial and non-profit organizations, small and medium-sized businesses, consulting companies, and universities. The application areas of the programs are also quite diverse: promotion of products of an entire industry, individual goods, brands; guarantee of export credits; technical assistance in removing veterinary and phytosanitary barriers, etc. The financing of export activities in the framework programmes is carried out mainly by the state but private capital is also involved. Programs to promote the export of agricultural products are an important part of agrarian and export policy of the United States. Throughout the entire period of their operation, they show their versatility and effectiveness, which contributes to the consolidation of the United States in the world food market as the largest, if not the largest, global exporter.
